It's so much easier to stay on a low carb diet when you have things to nibble on. I've been drying meatballs (cut them in half first), and they make a fantastic savory snack. I'll post to the Tried and True thread when I get a chance.

I routed the exhaust from the catch can to a home made catch can that consisted of a jar with two ports with steel wool inside. I wanted to see just how much oil would escape the newly install catch can and collect in the jar.

I purchased a brass reducer and pushed the blue hose over it.
Run full system test with no food get more info in chamber (results, 630 mTorr lowest steady reading - looking through the oil level window, some bubbling seen in oil even after an hour of pumpdown - some "air" noises from pump)
For me, a prepper, a freeze dryer is cem% worth it because I can freeze dry whatever I want/need to fill my pantry with food that will nourish our family for years, pelo matter what might come our way.
